F.A.C.T. - First Aid and CPR Training Course
Designed to be a common sense approach to first aid training. Written by Paramedics, E.M.Ts, Critical Care Nurses, Emergency Department Nurses, and Respiratory Therapists, this course was developed to give students a strong knowledge and background in immediate care of an injured or ill person. Students completing this course are issued a card valid for a period of two years for both first aid and CPR. 6 Hour
F.A.C.T. - First Aid and CPR Renewal
Same high quality common sense approach as our First Aid & CPR Training Course above but at a quicker pace for students who have a valid or recently expired FACT card. Students completing this course are issued a card valid for a period of two years for both first aid and CPR. 4 Hours
American Heart Association - Heartsaver Course
This course is taught by American Heart Association trained instructors with a strong medical and teaching background. The Heartsaver CPR Course is modular and teaches lay rescuers how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking for adult, child and infant victims. Students also learn to recognize the warning signs of heart attack and stroke in adults and breathing difficulties in children. The program has three courses from which to choose. Written/Skills Exam: Required for completion card.
American Heart Association - Healthcare Provider Course
The BLS Healthcare Provider Course teaches CPR skills for helping victims of all ages (including doing ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device, and oxygen); use of an automated external defibrillator (AED); and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO). It's intended for participants who provide heath care to patients in a wide variety of settings, including in-hospital and out-of-hospital. For certified or noncertified, licensed or nonlicensed healthcare professionals. Written/Skills Exam: Required for completion card.
A.E.D. (Automatic External Defibrillator) Training
The Heartsaver AED Course teaches the basic techniques of adult CPR and how to use an AED. Students also learn about using barrier devices in CPR and giving first aid for choking. The course teaches how to recognize the signs of four major emergencies: heart attack, stroke, cardiac arrest and choking.
Bloodborne Pathogen Training
A must for childcare providers, healthcare workers, first aid providers or anybody who comes in contact with body fluids. Teaches how to evaluate hazards of exposure, treatment precautions, and clean-up.
